The new 2024 Chevy Traverse is on the way to Cumming, GA, and this popular midsize SUV has a lot to offer. Just how does it compare to the 2023 model? Come check out the differences between the 2023 and 2024 models.
The 2024 Chevy Traverse receives a complete redesign with a bolder design and more spacious interior. The RS trim receives some updates to the design with RS badging, Jet Black leather seats with red accents, 22-inch high-gloss black wheels, and other accents.
One of the biggest changes Buford shoppers will notice is the new Traverse Z71. This off-road-focused model offers skid plates to protect the underside and an all-wheel drive system with a twin-clutch. You'll also have an off-road-tuned suspension paired with all-terrain tires, among other features, to help you handle the bumps in the road in Canton, GA.
The High Country and Premier models were removed for the 2024 model year, with the RS now sitting at the top of the lineup. When it comes to performance, the 2023 model is powered by a 3.6L V6 with nine-speed automatic transmission for up to 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque on Dawsonville highways.
The 2024 model features an updated and more powerful turbocharged V6 that puts out up to 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. That means you can tow up to 5,000 pounds around Johns Creek when properly equipped.
For technology, you now have an impressive 17.7-inch touchscreen to help you stay connected and navigate around Alpharetta. This is a large improvement over the previous generation's seven-inch touchscreen.
These are just a few of the changes that the new 2024 Chevy Traverse has to offer over the previous 2023 model.
